My Story

Since its inception The Irish Youth Foundation has awarded over £6 million to help improve the lives and opportunities of young Irish people in the UK. Grants are awarded annually to a wide range of welfare organisations and community groups working with disadvantaged young Irish people and their families in Britain and Northern Ireland and to Irish students at colleges and universities in the UK.

As the foundation is almost entirely voluntary, the funds raised go directly to where they are most needed.

My work at Birmingham Irish Association means I have seen first hand the wonderful things that have been enabled by the work of this charity which is why I am running to support it.

About us

The Big Half follows a stunning 13.1 mile closed-road course, starting by London's iconic Tower Bridge and finishing at Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

It's a vibrant and fun community running festival that brings Londoners of all backgrounds and abilities together in a celebration of the city's diversity - while raising much-needed funds for charity in the process!

Here's where you can shout about your Big Half challenge to friends and family and get those donations roling in.
