My Story
In August 2023, one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever known tragically lost his battle with mental ill-health. He was only 24. To know that someone so young and full of potential could be struggling so deeply that suicide feels like the only way out is heartbreaking — and something no one should ever have to face.
That’s why raising vital funds for a mental health charity in his honour means so much to me. It’s a way to remember him, support others who are struggling and help make a difference.
As a passionate runner — with two half marathons behind me, including the Great North Run — I’m excited to take on another challenge for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.
